Lendingpot was founded on the belief that finding the right loan should be simple, transparent, and fair. When we first started, borrowers often had to approach multiple banks and licensed lenders on their own, compare different offers, and navigate confusing terms. Many were left unsure if they were really getting the best deal. We believed there had to be a better way.

Driving this business are three core values: Prioritising Customers, Unbiased Referrals, and Going the Extra Mile. These are not just words on a page. They are the reasons Lendingpot exists, and they continue to guide every decision we make today and how we serve our 15,000+ customers annually. 

Prioritising Customers

Customers are at the centre of everything we do. Taking a loan is rarely just about numbers, it often connects to important life moments, like buying a home, supporting a family, or investing in education. That’s why we treat each borrower as more than just an application.

Dedicated human support

Every customer is matched with a dedicated salesperson. In an age where everything is becoming automated, we believe in keeping human connection. Whether it’s a WhatsApp message or a phone call, our customers know that someone is there to guide them.

Walking the journey together

From the first enquiry to loan approval, we stay involved. Our team helps explain terms, manages expectations, and supports customers through every stage of the process.

We back this up with action through our 0.5% cashback guarantee, ensuring money goes directly back into our customers’ pockets. This isn’t just a perk, it’s a reflection of our commitment to cost-effectiveness.

Learning from feedback

Many of our improvements (such as clearer loan comparisons and better information flow) came from listening to our customers. Their experiences shape the platform.

Unbiased Referrals

One of the main reasons Lendingpot was created is to remove bias from the borrowing process. We are not a lender; we are a free loan matching platform. Our role is to connect borrowers to the right lenders, fairly and transparently.

Here’s what that means in practice:

Fair competition

We work with banks and licensed lenders across Singapore. All offers are presented as they are, based on borrower preferences like loan amount, interest, and tenor. We don’t hide offers or give priority to any single lender, even those we are affiliated with, such as Friday Finance. Every lender is held to the same standard, and borrowers are free to choose the offer that best suits them.

Accountability for lenders

We hold lenders to high standards. If a lender misrepresents their offers, they risk suspension or even removal from our platform. This protects borrowers and ensures fairness.

Clear information

Banks may sometimes provide us with their lowest possible rates. Instead of promoting these without context, from September 2025, we display them with disclaimers, reminding customers that actual rates depend on the bank’s assessment. This approach may seem cautious, but it’s honest. And honesty is what borrowers deserve.

Going the Extra Mile

We believe a good platform doesn’t just do the minimum. Going the extra mile means looking for ways to make borrowing more convenient, rewarding, and future-ready for our customers.

We onboard lenders spread out across Singapore, so borrowers always have options near them. Accessibility matters, and we want to reduce friction in every way possible.

Constantly improving choices

We continue to bring in new lenders and negotiate better promotions through our affiliate partners. This means more variety and better deals for our customers over time.

Rewards that last

Cashback with us isn’t a one-time welcome offer. We reward customers with cashback on every loan they take through Lendingpot. This long-term commitment shows that we value ongoing relationships, not just first-time sign-ups.
